Is it safe to watermark confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The watermark is added in your browser, on your device, and the document is never uploaded.
Can I use a logo instead of text?
Yes. Choose Image and pick your logo. A PNG with a transparent background works best.
Can I make the watermark faint or diagonal?
Yes. Set the opacity and the angle, and place it once in the center or repeat it across the page.
Should the watermark go over or under the content?
Over is the default and always visible. Under puts it behind the text and images, which looks subtler but hides it behind scanned pages and solid backgrounds.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose Chosen pages and type the page numbers.
Can someone remove the watermark?
It’s drawn into the page content rather than added as a comment, but someone with PDF editing software could still take it out. Keep your original without the watermark.
